Louis Vuitton

Founded in 1854, Louis Vuitton Malletier, known simply as Louis Vuitton or LV (the brand), is a French luxury fashion house. As one of the world's leading international fashion houses, the brand is progressive about selling its merchandise, using all-available shopping channels to move its products, including standalone boutiques, high-end departmental stores, and the e-commerce section of its website. Named the world's most valuable luxury brand for six consecutive years in the early 2000s, the brand operates out of 50 countries with over 460 stores worldwide. You can find the brand's iconic LV monogram stamped onto or into the materials used for most of their products, including their ready-to-wear apparel, watches, jewelry, luxury bags and leather goods, shoes, and eyewear collections. The Louis Vuitton label was founded by Vuitton in 1854 on Rue Neuve des Capucines in Paris, France. Louis Vuitton started at $10,567 as a sales price. Louis Vuitton had observed that the HJ Cave Osilite trunk could be easily stacked. In 1858, Vuitton introduced his flat-topped trunks with Trianon canvas, making them lightweight and airtight.
