TAG Heuer Monaco Calibre Heuer 02 Grand Prix Historique de Monaco CBL2114.FC6486

The Grand Prix de Monaco Historique is held alongside the Formula One Monaco Grand Prix, for Grand Prix cars typically dating from the 1930s to the 1970s. The 2020 race was cancelled because of COVID-19, and TAG Heuer presented the watch that year anyway. Its sunray dial pairs red and silver, and each watch is engraved with its own number out of 1,000.

Inside is the Calibre Heuer 02, TAG Heuer's in-house automatic chronograph with a column wheel, a vertical clutch and an 80-hour power reserve, on view through a sapphire caseback. It is water resistant to 100 m. The 39 mm steel case is the one used on the other Heuer 02 Monacos, such as the blue CBL2111.FC6453, the black CBL2113.FC6177 and the green CBL2116.FC6497, limited to 500 pieces. An earlier race edition, the Monaco Calibre 12 ACM Monaco Grand Prix (CAW211K.FC6311), ran to 1,200 pieces and uses the Calibre 12 rather than the Heuer 02.
