Gucci watches

Gucci has sold watches since 1972. That year Severin Wunderman obtained the licence to produce Gucci watches and founded Severin Montres, which bought finished watches from a producer in Bienne. The Model 2000, introduced in 1972, was among Gucci's earliest Swiss-made collections. Gucci came under the control of PPR, the group now called Kering, in 1999.

In 2021 Gucci presented the 25H, its first collection with proprietary movements, including the micro-rotor calibre GG727.25, developed and made at Kering's watch manufacture in La Chaux-de-Fonds.
