Unimatic Modello Uno U1-A

Unimatic describes a slim 40 mm case under a thin, raised timing bezel whose edge is finely knurled in straight lines. The steel alternates brushed and polished surfaces, and each caseback is engraved with the watch's number. Like every Unimatic diver, it sits under a double-domed sapphire and is rated to 300 m. It takes a 22 mm strap and measures 13.6 mm thick. The Modello Uno was Unimatic's first watch, shown in December 2015 with the Seiko NH35A automatic inside.

The U1-A set the template the later references vary. The U1-D and U1-E keep its black dial and dive bezel in runs of 600, and the U1-DN, also 300 pieces, adds a black DLC coating and a date at 6. The U1-DL puts the dive scale over a blue dial, and the U1-B keeps the black dial but swaps the minute scale for a single-mark bezel.
